What will be happening on our try out days?

· This is the time you will be able to meet and spend time with the teacher.

· You can stay and observe or you can drop your kids off for 45 minutes for a trial session.

· This unique opportunity is an exciting way to learn together!!

· Open to 2 yr. olds (accompanied by a parent) along with 3, 4, and 5 yr. olds.

· Limited seating available, call today!

Mission Statement

The Union Bilingual Immersion Preschool is committed to providing authentic language exposure and kindergarten readiness skills to children through student-directed lesson plans that incorporate service-learning, community involvement, environmental activism, and culturally based activities.  Our main objective is to foster a union between children of different cultural and linguistic backgrounds in a safe, enjoyable atmosphere.

The idea of this bilingual immersion preschool started as a pilot program in 2006 with two sessions under the name of Amiguitos Preschool, in which we experimented with different methods of language acquisition in order to maximize language learning.  Since then, we have been developing curriculum specifically designed for optimal language acquisition among preschool-aged children (specifically children who are potty-trained and preparing for kindergarten), regardless of previous language exposure, language levels, and maturity levels.  Read More

La Union Bilingual Immersion Preschool está comprometida a ofrecer una exposición  a un idioma auténtico y  trabajar con las habilidades de preparación para el jardín de niños a través de lecciones dirigidas a los estudiantes que incorporan aprendizaje para servicio, participación comunitaria, actividades acerca del medio ambiente y actividades basadas en la cultura.  Nuestro principal objetivo  es fomentar una unión entre los niños de una cultura y antecedentes idiomáticos diferentes en un ambiente seguro y una atmósfera  agradable.

Algo sobre Unión Preschool:

La idea de este pre escolar de inmersión bilingüe empezó como un programa piloto en 2006 con dos sesiones bajo el nombre de Amiguitos Preschool, en donde experimentamos con diferentes métodos de adquisición de un idioma   con el fin de maximizar el aprendizaje del lenguaje.  Desde ese entonces, hemos desarrollado un plan de estudios específicamente diseñado  para optimizar la adquisición de un idioma entre los niños de edad pre escolar, sin importar haber estado expuesto previamente a un idioma distinto, a los niveles del lenguaje, y a la madurez de estos niveles.

  4. Primary Activity (10-20 min.)
  5. Nature/Culture Activity (10-20 min.)
  6. Creative Activity (10-20 min.)
  7. Letter Coloring/Number Coloring (5-10 min.)
  8. Games/ML Activities (5-20 min.)
  9. Snack / Bathroom Time (5-15 min.)

LANGUAGE #2

  1. Outside Play (10 – 15 min.)
